Application Notes

• Coat application: Applying 3 coats is recommended. Color intensity and coverage may vary as the number of coats increases.
• Coat effect: Thinner applications may produce a lighter, more transparent turquoise, while thicker applications may result in a richer and more pronounced turquoise appearance.
• 995°C firing: At approximately 995°C, a light turquoise, transparent, and glossy surface may develop. The semi-transparent character helps underlying surface textures and design details remain visible.
• 1220°C firing: At approximately 1220°C, the turquoise color may become lighter, producing a softer tone.
• Temperature effect: Different firing temperatures between 995°C and 1220°C may alter the color intensity, transparency, and final surface appearance.
• Transparency: The semi-transparent character of the product may help preserve the visibility of relief, carved details, textures, and underglaze decoration.
• High-fire behavior: The surface behavior of the glaze may change at higher temperatures, and deformation may occur on the form. Controlled firing is especially recommended for delicate and thin forms.
