Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- Make sure the product is completely dry before starting the application.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive paint or glaze buildup in the recessed areas between the embossed details.
- Paint and glaze should be applied in thin, even layers to prevent the relief details from being obscured.
- Excessive glaze buildup should be avoided around the handle joints, rim, and inner base.
- For products intended for beverage use, the inner surface should be completely coated with a glaze suitable for food contact.
- No glaze should be left on the base when placing the product in the kiln.
- After firing, the product should be checked for cracks, glaze defects, sharp edges, and unglazed areas.
FOOD USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for food and beverage use. A food-safe glaze and the correct firing program should be used, and the product should be checked for watertightness and surface integrity before use.
Handcrafting and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, embossed details, and handle form may occur between products. These variations do not affect use and are a natural characteristic of the product.
