Technical Details and Application

Painting and Glazing

Refsan underglaze ready-to-use paints are highly compatible with this bisque. For functional drinkware, a lead-free, non-porous glazed finish is required for hygiene and long-term durability.

  • Ceramic Application: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a professional, high-gloss finish.
  • Tile (Çini) Application: Traditional tile glazes maturing at 900°C – 920°C are perfect for showcasing refined artisanal motifs.

Decorative Use with Acrylic Paint

  • Suitable only for display-oriented decorative projects (no kiln firing required).
  • Safety Warning: Items finished with acrylics are not food-safe. Do not use for drinking if finished with acrylic paint. A protective varnish is recommended after painting.

Craftsmanship & Quality

Fired at 1050°C to reach its sturdy bisque state, each Classic Coffee Cup Set reflects the authentic touch of artisanal production. Natural variations in thickness or clay tone are hallmarks of handcrafted pottery, ensuring every set is unique.

Firing Safety & Guidelines

  • Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of dust and dried before applying glaze.
  • Strictly follow the temperature requirements of the specific glaze type used.
  • Performing a test fire is suggested to observe how the kiln atmosphere influences the final bisque color.
