Addition of Na-Silicate (Glass Water) for 100 kg of material= 80 gr. Add 40% of the amount of water to be prepared and then slowly add granule powder into it. The addition of glass water is important. Glass water (sodium silicate) adjusts the viscosity. While 40% water addition is sufficient for some casting muds, sometimes this rate can be up to 60%. This is completely related to the water absorption capacity of the clay inside. You can also prepare liquid casting mud by measuring the density with the help of a boomometer. It is recommended to have 58 - 60 Bome with the boommeter. (For example, if it is 65 Bome, you can drop the Bome by adding water.)
