Application Notes

• Coat application: For optimal pattern intensity, color depth, and crystallized surface development, 2-3 coats are recommended. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats.
• Application thickness: As thickness increases, amber transitions, speckles, and vein effects may become more pronounced. Avoid excessively thick application on vertical surfaces.
• Clay body selection: On light-colored high-fire clay bodies, the contrast between the black base and amber-brown effects may appear stronger and more defined.
