Application Notes

• Brush application: For balanced development of the orange color and dark speckles, 2-4 coats are recommended. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
• Coat effect: As application thickness increases, color depth and speckle density may vary. Excessively thick application should be avoided due to the risk of running.
• Reactive character: The size, density, and distribution of the speckles may vary depending on the clay body, firing temperature, hold time, and cooling rate.
• Clay body contrast: Leaving the lower section of the form unglazed can create a distinctive glaze-to-clay contrast, particularly on naturally colored high-fire clay bodies.
