Painting and Glazing

Refsan underglaze ready-to-use paints are highly compatible with this bisque form. Achieving a non-porous and durable finish through proper glazing is essential for hygienic food contact.

• Ceramic Application: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a professional, smooth, and long-lasting finish.
• Tile (Çini) Application: Use tile glazes maturing at 900°C – 920°C for an elegant, traditional look.

Decorative Use with Acrylic Paint

• Suitable for display-only decorative projects using acrylic paints (no kiln firing required).
• Safety Warning: Acrylic-painted bowls are not food-safe. Do not use for serving if finished with acrylics.
• Applying a protective varnish post-painting is recommended to safeguard the artistic design.
