Balloon Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a rounded body and narrow opening.

Its spherical surface provides an uninterrupted application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, color transitions, polka-dot patterns, geometric compositions, and botanical motifs. The three available sizes—small, medium, and large—can be displayed together to create a graduated decorative series.

Painting and Usage Options

• Can be colored with underglaze paints, ceramic paints, and ceramic glazes.
• Color transitions, polka-dot patterns, geometric motifs, botanical compositions, and illustrative designs can be applied to the spherical surface.
• Continuous borders, lines, and repeating patterns can be created around the product.
• The rounded form can be emphasized by decorating the upper and lower sections of the body in different colors.
• Different sizes can be decorated using the same color palette to create a coordinated decorative series.
• Different surface finishes can be created using solid-color, matte, glossy, metallic, speckled, or effect glazes.
• Once properly glazed, they can be used for arrangements with single stems, slender-stemmed flowers, dried flowers, and decorative branches.
• For projects that will not be kiln-fired, acrylic painting, stencil, patina, antiquing, and dry-brush techniques can be applied.

Application and Firing Notes

• Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
• The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
• Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating around the narrow opening, inner surface, body curves, and base.
• Glaze should be applied in an even thickness to ensure consistent color and texture across the spherical body.
• The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
• For products intended to hold water, the inner surface must be glazed completely and without gaps.
• Products of different sizes should be positioned inside the kiln to prevent them from touching each other or other pieces.
• After firing, check the surfaces for cracks, pinholes, sharp edges, or unglazed areas.

Display and Handling Notes

• The products should be displayed on flat, stable surfaces where there is no risk of impact.
• When carrying them, do not hold them by the opening; support them from the body and base.
• Long or heavy flowers may alter the product’s center of gravity, so arrangements should be prepared carefully to maintain balance.
• When different sizes are displayed side by side, they should be positioned so that they do not touch each other.
• Due to the narrow opening, compatibility with thick-stemmed flowers should be checked before use.

Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, color tone, body curvature, and opening shape may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
