The Ceramic Rim Finishing Cone is a conical shaping tool used to refine the rims of unfired ceramic pieces, even out thickness, and smooth surface irregularities. It is manufactured from durable resin using SLA 3D printing technology and is available in three different sizes.
It is used for rim finishing, form correction, and thickness adjustment on bowls, mugs, jars, and similar ceramic forms. Its conical design makes it suitable for working with forms that have different rim diameters.
Before finishing, lightly moisten the rim of the ceramic form. Center the appropriately sized cone on the rim and rotate it with even pressure, continuing the process in a controlled manner until the desired form is achieved.
