8 cm Joker Bowl Ceramic Bisque

8 cm Joker Bowl Ceramic Bisque is a versatile product that can be used for both serving and ceramic applications with its compact dimensions and simple round shape.

Its small and smooth surface provides a practical workspace for quick color, pattern, and glaze tests. Its unglazed and porous structure is suitable for underglaze, ceramic glaze, ceramic paint, and acrylic paint applications.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for serving food, the surface must be coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the products used.

Application and Firing Notes

  • Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
  • The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
  • Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup on the inner base, around the rim, and along the body transitions.
  • The base must be kept free of glaze, and the product must be positioned flat when placed in the kiln.
  • If multiple pieces are fired at the same time, sufficient space must be left between them to prevent damage from glaze runs.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: The glaze used must be suitable for food contact and applied according to the firing schedule specified by its manufacturer. After firing, the surface must be inspected for cracks, glaze flaking, pinholes, and sharp edges before the product is used for serving food.

Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, thickness, surface texture, rim, base, and body shape. These variations do not affect use and result from the natural characteristics of the product.

TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a test before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the ceramic surface, their color and flow behavior on the small surface, and the final firing result.
