Application Notes

• Brush application: Apply 2-5 coats to develop the stone effect and cratered texture. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats.
• Layer effect: As the number of coats increases, the bubbly surface, crater depth, and color transitions between cobalt and turquoise may become more pronounced.
• Clay body selection: Blue and turquoise tones may appear clearer on light-colored clay bodies. On darker bodies, crater cavities and surface shadows may appear deeper.
• Reactive character: Color distribution, crater size, and surface movement may vary depending on application thickness, firing temperature, kiln atmosphere, and cooling rate.
