Applications & Recommendations
Wheel Throwing
Thanks to its high plasticity and homogeneous vacuum-processed structure, it centers and forms easily on the pottery wheel. It can be used to produce mugs, bowls, vases, and similar ceramic forms.
Hand Building
Suitable for slab building, coil building, and hand modeling. Its flexible composition makes it suitable for detailed decorative work, figurines, and small-scale sculptures.
Press Forming
Suitable for mold forming and press-forming applications. Its plastic and cohesive structure helps the clay body form evenly within the mold.
Jiggering
Suitable for jiggering applications and helps preserve surface details and form definition during shaping.
Product Advantages
Versatile Application
Compatible with a wide range of forming techniques, including wheel throwing, hand building, press forming, and jiggering.
Easy to Shape
Its plastic, vacuum-packed composition makes it easy to wedge, roll, and form.
Smooth Surface
The grog-free composition makes fine detailing easier and helps produce clean, smooth surfaces.
Distinctive Red Fired Color
Develops a natural, warm red tone after firing, giving both glazed and unglazed ceramic pieces a distinctive appearance.
DRYING & FIRING NOTICE
To reduce the risk of cracking and deformation, ceramic pieces should be dried gradually under controlled conditions, away from direct sunlight and strong air currents. Small-scale glaze compatibility and firing tests are recommended before full-scale production.
SPECIAL USE NOTICE
This product is not specifically formulated as a flame-resistant clay body for cookware intended for direct use on stovetops, fireplaces, or open flames. For ceramic pieces that will come into direct contact with fire, use a clay body specifically developed for that purpose.
As production conditions may vary, forming, controlled drying, shrinkage, bisque firing, and glaze compatibility tests are recommended before full-scale production.
