Application Notes

• Thin application: At lower temperatures and with thin coats, a more matte beige surface with brown speckles may develop.
• Thick application: In areas where the glaze pools, color depth increases and occasional glossy transitions may develop.
• High temperature: As the firing temperature approaches 1250°C, the surface may become glossier and honey-yellow tones may become more pronounced.
• Surface texture: After firing, textured mineral-like particles that can be felt by hand may develop across the surface.
• Flow: The glaze produces more stable results between 1200°C and 1220°C. Its tendency to flow may increase between 1220°C and 1250°C and with thicker applications.
• Crazing risk: Crazing may develop depending on compatibility between the clay body and glaze. Compatibility testing is recommended before the main application.
• Clay body selection: Beige, brown, and honey-yellow transitions appear more pronounced on white porcelain and light-colored high-fire clay bodies.
