Application Notes

• Thin application: A thin and even application produces a clearer, more balanced, and silky matte surface.
• Thick application: Excessively thick applications may produce a whitish, cloudy appearance known as boron haze.
• Brush application: A single, controlled coat is recommended for a balanced surface.
• Dipping and spraying: Depending on the application method, 5-30% water may be added gradually and in a controlled manner.
• Decoration visibility: Its transparent character largely preserves the appearance of the clay color, slips, and surface decorations underneath.
• Glaze combinations: When layered with artistic glazes, different levels of matteness, flow, and color transitions may develop. Testing is recommended before combining glazes.
