Type K NiCr-Ni Porcelain-Protected Thermocouple is a temperature sensor with an operating range of 0-1200°C, designed for temperature measurement in ceramic kilns and high-temperature applications. With its technical porcelain protective sheath and different immersion length options, it can be used in various kiln systems.
The Type K thermocouple can be used to measure temperature and transmit the measurement to the control system in ceramic, porcelain, and tile kilns. It is suitable for kiln applications requiring temperature monitoring, such as bisque and glaze firings.
For accurate measurement, the sensor must extend at least 10 cm into the kiln chamber. If the temperature reading decreases instead of increasing after connection, the polarity of the connection terminals should be checked and the terminal positions should be reversed.
In addition to ceramic kilns, it can be used in laboratory kilns, glass processing, metal heat treatment, refractory production, and industrial kiln systems requiring high-temperature measurement.
