Eagle Owl (Puhu) Plaster Mold

This professional 2 piece plaster mold is designed for producing high quality Eagle Owl (Puhu) figures. It is perfectly compatible with both ceramic and porcelain casting slips, offering a detailed and smooth modeling experience for creating unique decorative objects and professional bisque art.

• Ensure the casting slip is prepared 1 day in advance using sodium silicate (water glass).
• Mix the slip thoroughly with an electric mixer or a wooden spoon before pouring.
• Pour the slip slowly into the mold, filling it completely to the rim.
• Depending on weather conditions, 2 to 4 casts can be made per day.

Before casting, wipe the mold with a damp sponge to remove any dust or particles. Minor surface imperfections or chips on the external edges of the plaster do not affect the quality of the cast as long as the interior surface remains smooth and intact.

• New Molds: If the mold arrives wet, wait 1 to 2 days for it to dry naturally before use.
• Maintenance: Using the mold at the correct moisture level ensures the best results for your bisque.
