Technical Details & Application

Glazing & Painting Information

  • Underglaze Painting: Refsan ready-to-use underglaze paints can be safely applied on both tile and ceramic bisque surfaces.
  • Ceramic Glazing: Typically applied between 1040°C – 1050°C, resulting in a smooth surface and increased durability.

Acrylic Paint Use (Decorative)

  • Can be painted with acrylic paints; however, this method is not suitable for food contact.
  • Varnishing is recommended for decorative applications.
