Usage and Decoration Suggestions

Nova Slip is perfect for coloring the clay surface before bisque firing or applying techniques such as sgraffito (carving). Tonal variations in the slip color may be observed at different firing temperatures. Rich visual effects can be achieved by applying transparent or artistic glazes over it. For dipping or spray applications, controlled water addition should be made for a homogeneous mixture, and the product must be stirred very well.

Maintenance and Storage Conditions

• Preparation: Stir thoroughly until a homogeneous structure is achieved before use.
• Storage: Store in its original packaging, tightly closed, at room temperature.
• Thickness: It is recommended to perform tests in your own studio environment as application thickness may affect the adhesion of the subsequent glaze.
