Usage and Decoration Details

Atlas Slip creates a strong contrast, especially on light-colored clays. It allows you to achieve sharp lines in sgraffito techniques. Due to its wide firing range, it maintains its color and texture at different temperatures; however, tonal variations may occur at very high temperatures. For dipping or spray applications, controlled water addition should be made for a homogeneous mixture, and the product must be stirred very well before use.

Maintenance and Storage Conditions

• Preparation: Stir the product thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved before use.
• Storage: Store in its original packaging, tightly closed, at room temperature.
• Thickness Control: It is important to determine the application thickness by testing in your own studio environment and on the body you use to prevent issues like glaze shivering or slip flaking.
