Painting and Glazing
Our Refsan underglaze ready paints can be used safely in both tile and ceramic biscuits. Glazing process increases both the aesthetic appearance and durability of the product.

Ceramic Products: When glazing ceramic biscuit products, you need to use ceramic glazes. Ceramic glazes usually develop between 1040°C and 1050°C. This glaze gives ceramic products a smooth surface and helps them to last longer.

Tile Products: When glazing tile biscuit products, you need to use tile glazes. Tile glazes are fired at approximately 900°C - 920°C. Tile glazes provide a fine and elegant surface.

Firing

Our products are carefully baked at 1050°C to form biscuits. The baking temperature increases the durability of the products and enhances their colour. Different firing times and temperatures can affect the surface properties and aesthetic appearance of the products.

Acrylic Paint
It can be painted with acrylic paints; however, this process is not suitable for food contact. It is recommended to apply protective varnish after acrylic painting.
