Application Notes

• Application Technique: Ready for brush application. To achieve the smooth and velvety matte purple effect shown in the image, applying 3 layers on white ceramic clay is ideal.
• Matte Character: Due to the matte nature of the glaze, it is recommended to apply each layer perpendicular to each other (cross-hatch) to minimize brush marks, ensuring a homogeneous surface finish. Allow complete drying between coats.
• Clay Body Effect: Colors appear in their cleanest and most serene form on white ceramic bodies. On dark or chamotte (stoneware) clays, the matte texture of the glaze may take on a much more rustic and heavy appearance.
• Consistency Adjustment: To achieve ideal fluidity in spraying or dipping methods, you can adjust the density according to your own application style by adding water. The glazes are shipped in a dense state for these methods.
