Application Guidelines

• Coating Technique: For ideal crystal development and amber depth, applying 2 to 5 coats by brush is recommended. Ensuring complete drying between layers is essential.
• Reactive Nature: Being an artistic glaze, stony and vibrant variations will occur on the surface depending on the kiln regime. Crystal sparkles become more prominent in thick applications.
• Body Effect: The amber tone appears brighter and clearer on light-colored clay bodies. For heavy applications on vertical surfaces, the running and haloing character of the glaze should be monitored carefully.
