Painting and Glazing

Customizing your coffee gear is easy with Refsan underglaze paints. Proper glazing is the final step to make the dripper heat-resistant and easy to clean.

• Ceramic Firing: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a durable, non-porous finish that preserves the purity of your coffee's taste.
• Tile (Çini) Firing: For traditional decorative styles, fire at 900°C – 920°C to achieve a refined, artistic surface.

Decorative Use (Acrylic Paint)

• Ideal for display pieces using acrylic paints, which do not require kiln firing.
• Safety Warning: Acrylic finishes are not food-safe. Do not use for brewing or contact with hot liquids if painted with acrylics.
• A protective varnish should be applied post-painting to maintain the decorative integrity.
